There are many rules of golf, but there are two basic rules: one is that the players compete under fair conditions; the other is to deal with any situation in an objective and fair way during the game. In fact, all the rules of golf are formulated under these two premises.

1. Before starting a round
Read the local rules on the scorecard or bulletin board. Make an identifying mark on the ball. Many golfers use balls of the same brand, and if they cannot identify their own ball, it will be considered lost. Count the number of clubs, you can carry 14 clubs.

2. During a round of competition
Do not ask for advice from anyone other than a partner or caddie; do not give advice to anyone other than a player on the same side; ask about rules, distances and hazards, location of flagpoles, etc. During play on a hole, do not practice hitting. Do not use any artificial devices or unusual equipment unless expressly permitted by local regulations.

3. After a round of competition
Match play, making sure the results of the match are posted. For stroke play, please ensure that the scorecard is filled out correctly and submitted to the committee as soon as possible.
